My Story
PreviewI was introduced to Scentsy Wickless candles in October 2007. I was at a Home and Garden Show and was shown the safety of the product and took the information home with me. As I was looking at the book thinking how I would love to get a warmer for each of my 3 daughters and how much it was going to cost , I flipped to the page about being a hostess and consultant . Because I am that person who wants something for nothing. Better said as FREE!! I started looking at what came in the starter kit. What better way then get product and earn some money back when you buy something. But me being me, I have sold many things Avon, Mary Kay and aloe products. I know about party plans. I was already working 6days aweek at my factory job. I didn't have time or the want to do parties. But I still wanted the starter kit.So when I called my sponsor Carol, I said," I want to join Scentsy, but I am not doing parties. I just want to buy for myself. So don't bother me trying to get me to do more in sales." The first month after I had my kit and product I sold $2800.00 . Wow! and all I did was told a couple of friends and had a few people over. They loved the way my house smelled and started booking parties and placing orders. Then an Ice storm hit and nobody had time or money. Which I understood. I just put it in the closet and forgot about it. A couple of months after I had a friend ask me what I had on hand. Which was not much. I ended up selling the warmer out of my kit. After that it picked back up again and I started getting busy taking orders , recruiting, and building my team. Not even so many parties. But I didn't even realize how Scentsy busness took a life of its own. I was just having fun making extra money and making new friends. And having a great time with old friends.Since then I have quit my job at the factory in March of 2011. Yes, I am doing Scentsy full time. I have earned several trips thru the company. Like a cruise to Alaska, took my husband to Hawaii and my youngest got to go to Disney . Not only free trips but extra money and now it is my job. Oh but the best is the people I have come in contact and made friends with. They maybe my downline or a customer or just a great person. I also have a flexable schedule.So who doesn't want time , money and friends. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! YOU JUST HAVE TO WANT LIFE TO BE GOOD!!
